The long-running P-Square family feud has taken another turn after Jude Okoye responded to fresh allegations made by his younger brother, Peter Okoye.
Jude rejected Peter’s claims of financial misconduct and insisted he never diverted the group’s earnings.
He also maintained that the ongoing court case would determine the truth behind the allegations.
Reacting to Peter’s recent videos, Jude described the accusations as misleading.
He said, “If I’m found guilty, if they prove I took even one kobo that wasn’t mine, let them send me to jail. I’m ready for that.”
The former P-Square manager explained that royalty payments, backend records and account details had already been examined during the EFCC investigation. He argued that the issues remain before the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Jude also denied delaying access to the group’s music catalogue. According to him, Peter requested the records in October 2022, and they were sent as soon as they became available.
He further dismissed claims that he was not a signatory to P-Square’s bank accounts. Jude said official account documents showed that he, Peter and Paul were all authorised signatories.
Addressing the latest dispute, Jude accused Peter of trying to pull Paul Okoye into the controversy. He said, “So what is he doing, coming out again now, if not to spill emotional blackmail, manipulate, and make me look like a bad person by dragging Paul into this?”
The P-Square family feud follows Peter’s recent claim that, “Jude served me a letter in support of Paul, claiming he is the P-Square. During the hearing, the first thing they wanted was to stop me from performing P-Square songs.”
The criminal case involving Jude remains before the Federal High Court in Lagos, while Peter has yet to respond to his brother’s latest remarks.
