The memory of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba filled the room with tears and heartfelt tributes on Tuesday.
Family, friends, students and colleagues gathered in Ikeja for a candlelight and artistes’ night celebrating her life.
The emotional event honoured Osoba’s talent, kindness and lasting impact on those who knew and worked with her.
Several Yoruba actresses attended the gathering, including Foluke Daramola-Salako and Toyosi Adesanya, alongside family members.
The candlelight event offered loved ones an opportunity to remember Osoba beyond her death and celebrate her career.
Daramola-Salako was among the colleagues who supported Osoba during her battle with breast cancer. She had previously helped raise funds for the actress’s breast cancer surgery in November 2024.
Adesanya also used the gathering to stress the importance of showing care while people are still alive.
“checking up on others other than just crying when sad or bad news surfaces and just doing eye service, have impact in peoples life when they alive other than pretense and shedding of tears when they are no more,” she stated.

Her message urged people to offer genuine support instead of waiting until tragedy strikes.
The candlelight and artistes’ night became an emotional reminder of Osoba’s place in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
Osoba’s laughter, talent and kindness were remembered throughout the evening as attendees reflected on her life.
The gathering also highlighted the strong bond between the late actress and her colleagues.
Though Osoba is gone, those gathered said her light and memories would continue living through the people she touched.
