The death of Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba has sparked fresh questions after conflicting claims emerged about how she died.
Her fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, allegedly said the actress died at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
However, an Instagram influencer, oko_awonsingles_mothers, allegedly claimed that Osoba died from poisoning at her residence in Isaga.
The conflicting accounts have added uncertainty to the circumstances surrounding the actress’s death.
Onadeko, who leads CCC Onibuore Cathedral in Ibeju-Lekki, reportedly spoke about the controversy during an interview on Saturday.
He allegedly dismissed claims that breast cancer, poisoning or maltreatment caused Osoba’s death.
According to him, a stranger called him around midnight and informed him that Osoba had died at a police station.
He said he did not know the exact location at first, but later reported himself at a nearby police station.
The cleric also reportedly denied allegations that he misused money raised for Osoba’s cancer treatment.
He explained that donations for her surgery were paid directly into her personal bank account.

Onadeko further rejected claims that he used the funds to construct his church.
He said the church was already built before he met the actress.
The late actress was also said to have driven her own vehicle, contrary to claims surrounding her final moments.
Onadeko reportedly denied that Osoba took poison or suffered abuse before her death.
He added that she had left his church about three weeks before she died.
The conflicting claims have yet to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the death of Temitope Osoba.
Osoba died on Wednesday at the age of 40, leaving colleagues, friends and fans mourning her loss.
Her family has scheduled her burial for Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Iperu Remo, Ogun State.
As different accounts continue to circulate, further clarification from her family or relevant authorities could help establish what happened before her death.
