According to reports confirmed by the New York Post, the vehicle fire erupted close to the headquarters of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA).

Furthermore, videos shared online showed the car fully trapped in flames as people gathered behind police barricades to watch emergency crews battle the blaze.

However, the tense situation suddenly became more dangerous when the fire violently flared up.

The blast reportedly pushed flames toward nearby spectators, forcing many people to run in panic.

Several eyewitnesses were heard screaming as they rushed away from the area.

Meanwhile, the New York City Fire Department said it received reports of the burning vehicle around 5:42 p.m. local time.

Emergency crews immediately responded and sealed off nearby roads to prevent further danger.

One video posted online captured pedestrians fleeing while others continued recording the chaos on their phones.

“Running and still filming though, priorities sorted!!” one Reddit user joked after watching the clip.

Another moment that caught attention involved a woman who appeared unusually calm while escaping the scene.

“I’m like why she smiling like that? The whole run it was just e2e grins!!! 😂” another user wrote.

Authorities later confirmed that firefighters spent close to ninety minutes bringing the blaze under control.

Moreover, large clouds of smoke were seen hanging over Wall Street during the emergency operation.

Fortunately, emergency officials confirmed that no injuries were recorded despite the panic and heavy fire.

Investigators are currently working to determine the exact cause of the explosion.

However, police stated there is presently no evidence suggesting criminal activity or a deliberate attack.

The famous Charging Bull statue remains one of New York’s biggest tourist attractions and symbols of American financial power.

Located near Bowling Green in Lower Manhattan, the bronze sculpture attracts millions of visitors every year.

Interestingly, the statue has also become popular for a strange tradition involving its bronze anatomy.

Tourists from different countries often touch the statue for what many believe is financial good luck.

“It gives you good luck,” many visitors commonly say while posing for photos at the landmark.

Meanwhile, historians have long linked the bull to Wall Street’s history and financial strength.

A local Morris Street vendor once explained the deeper connection by saying, “Go back a few hundred years, and stock was literally livestock.”

Despite Tuesday’s chaos, tourists were seen returning to the area after emergency crews declared the scene safe.
