Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, in a private ceremony in Portugal.
The football superstar shared a photo of their hands wearing wedding rings on Instagram.
He captioned the post simply: “C (heart) G”.
The Cristiano Ronaldo wedding took place in Cascais, a coastal town near Lisbon.
The couple’s five children were present at what was described as a private and intimate ceremony. Ronaldo, 41, and Rodríguez, 32, have been together since meeting in Madrid in 2016.
Their wedding came exactly one year after Rodríguez announced their engagement on Instagram. Ronaldo remains focused on football despite the personal milestone.
The Portugal captain currently plays for Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr. He previously starred for Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored nearly 1,000 goals during his remarkable career.
Ronaldo also recently played at his sixth World Cup, matching Lionel Messi’s record.
The forward confirmed earlier this summer that he had played his final World Cup match.
However, he said he would take time before deciding his future with Portugal.
“I’m sad to be leaving the World Cup like this,” he said. “I gave it my all. I did my best. It was my last World Cup, yes, but I’ll now have time to reflect and be with my family. I won’t be making any rash decisions.”
He added: “I don’t decide anything in the heat of the moment. Now is not important whether I will continue.”
Ronaldo is now preparing for another season with Al-Nassr under new manager Ange Postecoglou.
The wedding comes just days before the Saudi club begins its 2026-27 league campaign.
