Popular Nigerian rapper Ice Prince has shocked fans after revealing the huge amount of money he allegedly spent on cannabis within six years.
The award-winning artiste made the disclosure during a recent podcast session on Nevon HQ. Moreover, his confession has triggered intense reactions across social media platforms, with many Nigerians debating celebrity lifestyles and addiction.
According to the rapper, he spent more than ₦340 million buying weed from just one dealer between 2020 and 2026.
Ice Prince explained that the amount did not include purchases made from other suppliers in Abuja, Ghana, Jos, and London.
He admitted that the realization eventually forced him to rethink his lifestyle and spending habits.
“From 2020 to 2026, I have spent N340 million on w+ed from just one dealer alone, not to even mention my other dealers from Abuja, Ghana, Jos, and London. This is literally just one guy,” the rapper said.
Others also praised the rapper for openly discussing his past experiences and decision to quit smoking.
Furthermore, the revelation has renewed discussions about substance use among entertainers and public figures.

Several social media users argued that celebrities often face hidden struggles despite their glamorous lifestyles.
However, others questioned how much could have been invested if the money had been channelled into business ventures or properties instead.
Ice Prince did not reveal exactly when he stopped smoking. However, he stated that the financial burden became impossible to ignore.
The rapper suggested that constantly spending huge amounts on cannabis no longer made sense to him.
The Nigerian music star remains one of the country’s respected hip-hop artistes, known for several successful songs and collaborations.
Over the years, Ice Prince has built a strong reputation within the African entertainment industry.
His latest revelation, however, has shifted public attention away from music and towards his personal journey.
Meanwhile, entertainment analysts believe celebrity interviews and podcasts are increasingly exposing the hidden realities behind fame and luxury lifestyles.
