Sadness have followed reports of the death of Nigerian-British singer-songwriter Talay Riley, who died at the age of 35 after a stabbing incident in east London.

Talay Riley, born Mark Orabiyi, was found with stab wounds after officers responded to reports of an incident at a property on Rayleigh Road in Silvertown.
According to information released by the Metropolitan Police, officers arrived at the location on Friday morning following reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, Riley was discovered in a garden with serious injuries. However, he could not be saved.
The incident has left many people searching for answers, especially given the singer’s influence within the music industry and among his supporters.
As investigations continue, police have confirmed that three individuals were initially arrested in connection with the case.
A 27-year-old man was later released on bail while further inquiries continue.

Meanwhile, a 24-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were released without further action.
