Ogun State welcomed Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, as she commissioned major projects in Abeokuta and Sagamu.
The visit brought together governors, government officials, First Ladies and other dignitaries for the launch of key development projects.
Among the major highlights was the commissioning of the 108-unit Muhammadu Buhari Estate at Kobape, Abeokuta.
The estate, named after former President Muhammadu Buhari, was completed by the Ogun State Government under Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, joined Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Governor Abiodun and other leaders at the commissioning.
The Gateway Medical Centre of Excellence was also commissioned during the visit. The facility is a 250-bed hospital designed to provide advanced healthcare services.
The medical centre is expected to improve access to specialised treatment for residents of Ogun and surrounding communities.
The programme also featured the zonal launch of the National Community Food Bank Programme in Makun, Sagamu.
Food items were distributed to vulnerable and low-income residents under the initiative. The programme aims to support households facing food challenges.


Senator Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, also joined the First Lady, Governor Abiodun and other dignitaries during the events.
Other attendees included Agriculture Minister Abubakar Kyari and Health Minister Muhammad Ali Pate.
The activities highlighted government efforts in housing, healthcare and social support.
The visit also provided an opportunity for government leaders to strengthen cooperation on projects affecting communities across the state.
