The comments quickly attracted criticism online, with many describing the alleged threat as unacceptable.

However, reports of DJ Chicken’s arrest initially circulated as rumours across several social media platforms before further details emerged.

The development was later confirmed during a livestream by content creator Tunde Perry, who disclosed that the controversial entertainer had been taken into police custody.

Speaking during the livestream, Perry said:

“DJ Chicken did a video that Tinubu can’t win the next election. Knowing fully well that Tinubu is the only Yoruba man contesting for the next presidential election in 2027. And said even if Tinubu wins, he will kill Seyi Tinubu. The president and his son are not responsible for his arrest but those close to the presidency did.”
