The organised labour has suspended the planned mass protest and the indefinite nationwide strike after contacting a consensus with Federal Government early this morning.
The meeting which was lead by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss. Mustapha had agreed to suspend the electricity tariff for two weeks to enable the committee’s of government and labour representatives advise further.
Both parties, i.e. (Labour and Government) had reached agreement and ended the meeting at 2:53am this Monday morning the 28th of September 2020. 
The Minister of State, Labour, Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN) confirmed this new development in a tweet on his verified tweeter page.
