Two Suspected Bandits Arrested in Imesi-Ile, Osun State

Residents of Imesi-Ile in Osun State were left stunned after two suspected bandits were arrested during a security operation that unfolded in a remote area of the community.

The suspects were apprehended on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, in Imesi-Ile, located in Obokun Local Government Area of Osun State. Their arrest followed reports of suspicious movements around a bush area within the community.

According to available information, the suspects were first noticed in a forested area alongside their cattle.

Following the report, local security personnel launched a coordinated response. Chief Layi Abesin and Chief Muyiwa Oguntoye led the operation.

Meanwhile, local security personnel reportedly moved swiftly to the location. The suspects were tracked through difficult terrain before they were eventually apprehended.
