Latest report reaching priscimedia on the fire outbreak in boundary road, Ajegunle, Lagos is the quick response from Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA)

Below is a statement from the head of public affairs LASEMA, Mr Nosa Okunbor-

SITUATION REPORT REGARDING THE FIRE OUTBREAK AT AJEGUNLE/IJORA BOUNDARY

Upon arrival at the scene, some shops gutted with fire at the plank section of the market were encountered.

The cause of the fire remains unknown. The fire was combated head-on by fire fighters from LRU and Federal Fire Services.

Concerted efforts to extinguish the fire completely came to bear when the Fire was been completely put out with the combined efforts of the LASEMA Response team and LRU fire.

Dampening down completed. Post disaster assessment to be conducted later.

The fire had burnt many shops but the LASEMA and Responders arrived on time to tackle the fire and avoid further damage at the Ajegunle Market fire outbreak.
Although, the cause of the outbreak is still unknown at the time of publishing this news.
