The FBI also issued Blair a federal summons over the incident. It cited alleged assaults occurring within US maritime jurisdiction during the flight.
A 911 call captured the pilot requesting urgent help at the gate; he mentioned injuries including a bloody nose and bite marks sustained mid-flight.

The pilot also noted a possible head injury involving the disruptive passenger, he asked for medical staff to be ready upon arrival.
Port Authority officials confirmed Blair acted in a physically aggressive manner onboard; she was hospitalized immediately after the flight landed safely.
A representative for Blair addressed the situation publicly afterward.
“Selma experienced a medical emergency that led to the alleged conduct,” the statement said.
