The cease-and-desist notices, dated October 3, 2026, reportedly give the recipients seven days to remove the disputed content and issue public apologies.

According to the notices, Anjorin wants the named individuals and platforms to stop publishing, sharing or promoting the disputed material.

Her legal team alleged that some posts, videos and live broadcasts contained false claims about the actress, her family, and her business interests.

The lawyers also claimed that some content included criminal allegations without supporting police reports or court judgments.

They argued that the publications had exposed Anjorin to public ridicule and harmed trust in her businesses.

The legal notice reportedly sets out three main demands:

Permanently remove the disputed posts, videos, live broadcasts and reposts, Publish a public retraction and apology with visibility matching the original content and Provide a written promise not to repeat similar statements.

The legal team also alleged that some bloggers shared the content to attract online traffic and earn money through platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

Anjorin has warned that failure to meet the demands could lead to legal proceedings as she reportedly intends to seek ₦50 million in damages from each person or platform involved.

The planned legal action could also include a request for a permanent court order against further publications and recovery of legal costs.

The notices further indicate that she may ask security agencies to investigate possible criminal offences connected to the disputed content.

The Lizzy Anjorin defamation dispute has brought renewed attention to the legal risks surrounding online publications about public figures.
