The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye visits Aso Rock to have a chat with President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday over CAMA. Pastor Adeboye was received at the State House, Abuja.
Adeboye’s visit became necessary when religious bodies started protesting against a section Companies and Allied Matters Act (CAMA) 2020 recently signed by president Buhari which had generated widespread criticisms from religious bodies in the country.
President Buhari had signed the bill into law on August 7, giving provision for religious bodies and charity organisations to be regulated by the registrar of the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and a supervising minister.
