Wale Elesho Breaks Silence as Facial Lesion Leads to Surgery

Veteran Nollywood actor Wale Elesho has undergone surgery after concerns about a facial lesion raised public attention.

The actor’s condition became a talking point during the funeral rites of late actor Taiwo ‘Ogogo’ Hassan.

Many people noticed the facial injury and urged Elesho to seek medical care for the condition.

However, Elesho previously dismissed reports that the lesion was cancer. He explained that the condition grew larger after he delayed getting proper treatment.

The latest update has now brought relief to fans and colleagues who were concerned about his health.

Adejonwo Oluwafemi Femson, National Publicity Secretary of the Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (ANTP), confirmed the development.

In a Facebook post, Femson said the Wale Elesho surgery was successful and that the actor is recovering well.

“Update on my brother, Prince Adewale Adeoye Elesho. By God’s grace, his operation was successful. He is doing well and recovering. Thank you all for the calls, prayers and concern,” he wrote.

The ANTP official’s message followed growing concern over Elesho’s facial condition and calls for him to get medical attention.

The veteran actor’s earlier comments also helped clear fears surrounding the nature of the facial lesion.

For now, attention remains on Elesho’s recovery as colleagues and fans continue to wish him well.
