A suspected kidnapper has been killed by Operatives of Edo Police Command while two kidnapped victim got rescued and rescued two kidnapped victims in Edo .
The police spokesperson in the state, Chidi Nwanbuzor, confirmed the incident when a distress call was received from residents of the community that a four-man armed gang suspected to be kidnappers had abducted one Samson Osegbowa, 65, and Stanley Peters 38, while they were working on their farmland.
The suspect got killed during a gun battle at Ago Orio community along Benin-Lagos highway . According to Nwanbuzor,the police in collaboration with the community’s local vigilantes moved to the scene and searched the bush. 
During the rescue operation, one of the kidnappers was killed and both victims were rescued unhurt and had since been reunited with their family.According to spokesman items recovered are one wooden gun,3 cutlasses,one torchlight and pair of operational shoes .
