Governor of Ondo, Rotimi Akeredolu has been declared winner of the just concluded Ondo gubernatorial election 2020.
The APC gubernatorial candidate and the current Governor of Ondo has won the 2020 Ondo governorship election the second time. He is to be returned as governor of the state.
Governor Akeredolu defeated his closest rival and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Eyitayo Jegede, in 12 of the 18 Local Government Areas where the election was held.
INEC official, Prof. Idowu Olayinka, declared Rotimi Akeredolu winner. He said the Governor had met all conditions required to return as governor-elect for the state.
