Fresh conversations have emerged following reports that the widow of late Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo is reportedly expecting a child.
The claim surfaced during the actor’s wake-keep in Arochukwu, Abia State.
While the report remains unconfirmed, the possibility that the late actor may leave behind an unborn child has captured public attention.
The story gained traction after a video from the funeral activities circulated on social media. The footage showed the convoy carrying the actor’s remains making a stop at the palace of the Eze Aro of Arochukwu before proceeding to the burial venue.
During prayers for the late actor, the monarch expressed hope that Alexx Ekubo’s family line would continue despite his death.
The monarch also prayed for the unborn child, expressing hope that the child would grow to surpass the achievements of his late father.
Meanwhile, the comments immediately sparked reactions across social media platforms.
However, neither Anwuli Amakom nor members of the Ekubo family have publicly confirmed the claim. Therefore, the report remains speculation at the time of filing this story.
