Gunmen disguised as kidnappers reportedly abducted a woman on Monday evening at road 10 junction,Akwaka phase 2, in Rumuodomaya area of Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
‘The gunmen may have trailed her and her driver from Ruby Centre road Off Airport road to Road 10 where her vehicle was intercepted,’ an eyewitness under anonymity said.
The eyewitness added that the attempt by the driver to bypass the suspected kidnappers failed as her Lexus SUV plunged into a gutter.The woman was subsequently dragged out of her vehicle while the gunmen shot to scare people away. 
She added that the woman’s vehicle, which was abandoned by the gunmen has been removed as at this morning.
