A commercial bus loaded with passengers in Omerelu axis of Port Harcourt- Owerri expressway at Ikwerre LGA of Rivers State have been reportedly abducted by some said Armed men .
According to an eyewitness,the commercial bus was returning to PortHarcourt from Owerri when it got hijacked by the gunmen.Another witness who happened to be a commercial driver, stated that armed kidnappers shot the driver on the leg before diverting the passengers to a nearby forest. The driver has however been rushed to the hospital for medical treatment but the numbers of the passengers in total and their whereabouts are unknown.
The matter has however been reported at the Elele Police division in the Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State.
