The singer shared the joyful news with fans through an Instagram post on Wednesday, September 24, ending weeks of speculation about her pregnancy.

The post, which included a heartwarming photo of the newborn, confirmed her name as Rock Irish Mayers.

The couple, already parents to two boys RZA Athelston and Riot Rose are now celebrating the arrival of their first daughter.

Rihanna’s announcement was met with excitement from fans and colleagues, as congratulatory messages flooded her comment section.

The 37-year-old singer had confirmed her pregnancy earlier this year at the Met Gala in May, where she proudly revealed her baby bump on the red carpet.

The happy announcement comes just months after Rihanna suffered the heartbreaking loss of her father, Ronald Fenty.

He passed away on May 25, 2025, in Los Angeles at the age of 70 following a brief illness.

Reports confirmed that his cause of death was linked to respiratory failure, pancreatic cancer, aspiration pneumonia, and other health complications.

Despite a history of strained relations, Rihanna attended his funeral at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens in Barbados on June 3, accompanied by A$AP Rocky.

While Rihanna continues to make headlines for her growing family, her influence extends far beyond the music industry.

She has successfully launched several ventures, including her lingerie brand Savage X Fenty and her Fenty fashion house, both celebrated for their inclusivity.

Her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line has also won global praise for offering an extensive range of shades and innovative products, reshaping beauty standards worldwide.

The arrival of Rock Irish Mayers further cements Rihanna and A$AP Rocky’s place as one of entertainment’s most celebrated couples.
