Popular Nigerian media personality Frank Edoho has finally reacted after an alleged leaked audio involving his estranged wife, Sandra Onyenuchenuya, and singer Chike surfaced online.
In the trending conversation, Sandra was heard sounding emotional while discussing pressure from Frank Edoho over alleged suspicions about her relationship with Chike.
However, the authenticity of the leaked audio has not been independently verified.
The development has once again pushed the private lives of the celebrities into public discussion, especially after Frank Edoho publicly confirmed that his second marriage had already crashed.
According to reports circulating online, Chike was allegedly involved in a romantic relationship with Sandra before the marriage eventually broke down.
The reports further claimed that Frank Edoho allegedly discovered the relationship before deciding to end the union.
In the leaked audio, Sandra allegedly suggested that she and Chike should block each other after what she described as “one last stupid thing.”
Chike, however, reportedly denied speaking to anyone about their situation during the emotional exchange.
Furthermore, Frank Edoho released a public statement addressing the growing attention surrounding his separation.
“Over the past few days, I’ve received an outpouring of kind messages, prayers, concern, and goodwill regarding my separation and ongoing divorce proceedings,” he said.
“I truly appreciate the empathy.”
The veteran television host explained that he had privately dealt with the emotional pain long before the issue became public.
“While I understand that the public is only just becoming aware of this chapter, I have lived through it privately for quite some time now(almost 2 years) and have since made peace with it emotionally,” he added.
Frank Edoho also stated that he has moved forward peacefully despite the painful situation.
“Life unfolds in different seasons, and sometimes, moving forward quietly is the most dignified path one can take.”
“I am well. Focused. At peace. And deeply grateful for the love, respect, and support so many of you continue to show me,” he concluded.
Speaking on the “Tea With Tay” podcast, the media personality admitted that marriage had not worked out for him despite trying twice.
“Maybe I’m not good at marriage, I must confess,” he said.
“The two women I had been married to are not my soul mates.”
He further explained the difference between a soulmate and the love of one’s life.
“The love of your life is different from your soul mate,” Edoho stated.
“The love of your life is the person who comes to your mind when you think of love.”
“But your soul mate is someone who understands you even before you express yourself and you naturally align with.”
Meanwhile, social media users continue reacting to the alleged audio leak, with many expressing sympathy for Frank Edoho.
