There was a fire outburst at the Mater Foam Industry, Obosi, near St. Albert Catholic Church, Obosi, Anambra which occured early Saturday morning.
The Director of Fire Chief of Anambra Fire Service, Mr Martin Agbili, confirmed the incident.According to him ,the incident occurred about 6.15 a.m. on Saturday as the Anambra State Fire Service received a distress call that there was a fire outbreak at the Mater Foam Industry, Obosi Odume.
“We immediately deployed our three fire trucks and our ever-ready and fearless firefighters to the fire scene.“We went into action, controlled and fought the fire to a standstill,” he said. 
He added that the cause of the fire is sketchy, saying that a lot of things were saved as they prevented the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.He confirmed that no life was lost during the fire incident, as they had a successful firefighting operation .
He however urged people to switch off all electrical and electronic appliances when not in use.
