An incident has left many in disbelief after a church linked to Apostle Johnson Suleman was completely destroyed by fire in South Africa. The attack, reportedly happened overnight.
What makes the situation even more unexpected is the scale of destruction. Everything inside the building was lost, leaving nothing behind.
Apostle Suleman shared a deeply emotional account of the incident. He revealed how the news reached him suddenly.
According to him, “They burnt down our church in South Africa. We own the building, we bought the building. My personal money in that building is about 90%, what the church raised is about 10%. They burnt the children church and the main building down.”
Moreover, he explained that the building was not rented but fully owned. The investment was largely personal, which made the loss more painful. In addition, the children’s church located beside the main building was also destroyed.
He further described the extent of the damage in detail. “No chair was taken out. No pulpit was taken out. No sound was taken out,” he said. Everything was completely burnt, including documents and equipment.

Meanwhile, suspicion has been raised about how the fire started. According to him, CCTV cameras failed to capture any suspect. Therefore, he suggested the possibility of insider involvement, as the attackers seemed to know the camera positions.
The pastor also highlighted the emotional impact of the loss. He admitted feeling broken at first. However, he chose a different response. He said he went into prayer and gave thanks despite the situation.
Furthermore, he revealed that the church quickly found a new place to worship. Members acted fast to secure a temporary location before Sunday service.
Interestingly, he noted that the former location had security concerns. The area was described as rough, with reports of illegal activities nearby. However, the new location is said to be calmer and more secure.
Despite the loss, the message shared remains focused on forgiveness and peace. He urged members to avoid anger and retaliation. Instead, he emphasized faith, unity, and moving forward.
