The Minister of Aviation,Hadi Sirika officially presented an approval document from the Federal Government on Tuesday which granted the Lagos State Government approval to build the Lekki International Airport.The approval document was handed to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu during the ongoing ninth Ehingbeti Lagos Economic Summit 2022 at the Eko Hotel and Suites in Victoria Island.
Sirika had commended the decision and vision of the Lagos State Government to build another airport expected to be both passenger and cargo airport.
“It will be quickest way to connect Lagos to the rest of the world by infrastructure and civil aviation.” he said.
