Former BBNaija star Sheggz has opened up about his breakup with fellow reality star Bella. He confirmed their relationship ended in January 2026.
The reality stars had shared a long relationship after meeting through the BBNaija platform. Their separation has since drawn attention from fans.
Sheggz said the breakup was linked to trust and respect issues. He also denied cheating on Bella during their relationship.
He explained that 2025 was especially difficult because of serious health challenges. He spent much of the year receiving treatment in and out of hospital.
After returning to Nigeria in October 2025, Sheggz said he discovered information that raised questions about honesty.
He said the couple later tried to reconcile. However, he decided some issues were too serious to ignore before marriage.
“Much of 2025 was an extremely difficult period for me as I spent a significant amount of time in and out of hospital.”
“I am genuinely grateful to be alive after everything | experienced.”
Sheggz said he had deeply hoped their relationship would lead to marriage. He revealed that he even bought a ring because he believed in their future.
“I genuinely wanted the relationship to work.”
He said their relationship eventually ended despite attempts to make things work.
Sheggz also rejected the idea of turning the breakup into a public fight.
He said he respects Bella and her family despite their differences.
“I have no desire for hostility or public back-and-forth.”
“I simply want to move forward peacefully with dignity and respect for everyone involved.” he stated.
