Alhaji Hassan Muhammad Sheriff, the Sarkin Arewan and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, is dead.
Alhaji Sheriff, died recently in a car accident at Akwanga-Gwantu road enroute to Abuja.The late politician has been buried in Bauchi in accordance with Islamic rites. The funeral prayer which held at the Bauchi Central Mosque was attended by hundreds of mourners.
The Bauchi State APC governorship candidate for the 2023 election, Air-Marshal Sadique Abubakar had on Friday conveyed his commiserations to the family of the Late Alhaji Sheriff. 
“On behalf of my family and myself, I send my deepest condolences to the family of Sarkin Arewan Bauchi and the Bauchi Emirate. May Almighty Allah comfort and strengthen them.“May Allah forgive his shortcoming and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus. Ameen,” Air Marshal Abubakar said in a statement
The deceased was also a staunch supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari.
