Heavy flooding has disrupted movement around Abuja following a heavy downpour in parts of the FCT.
The Airport Road and Lugbe areas were affected by the flooding on September 1.
Videos shared online showed vehicles trapped in slow-moving traffic as floodwater covered parts of the major roads.
The flooding also comes amid efforts by authorities to address the recurring problem across the capital.
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike has ordered the demolition of some houses reportedly built on water channels.

The move is part of efforts to clear blocked waterways and reduce the risk of further flooding.
Residents and commuters in affected areas were left dealing with difficult road conditions.
The heavy traffic on Airport Road also added to the disruption caused by the flood.
Authorities are expected to continue measures aimed at reducing flood risks across the nation’s capital.
