The Grammy winner is currently touring with Earth, Wind & Fire on the Sing a Song All Night Long tour.

Reports from TMZ and People said the Lionel Richie hospitalization was precautionary.

His representative had not immediately responded to requests for comment at the time of reporting.

The latest incident comes after Richie experienced another health scare during a June concert in Minnesota.

He reportedly became dizzy while performing and decided to sit at a piano during part of the show.

“When you’re feeling dizzy, sit your ass down,”

Richie joked before continuing the performance.

He later postponed two concerts after doctors advised him to rest and recover.

Richie returned to the stage days later and reassured fans about his condition.

He also thanked supporters for their messages and encouragement.

“Thank you for every message, every kind word, and for all your love. I’m doing well, and I’m grateful for all of you,” he wrote.

The singer has continued performing despite the recent health concerns surrounding his concerts.

His next scheduled performance is September 26 in San Francisco.

At the time of reporting, no further details about his condition had been released.
