A strong wave of emotions has followed a recent revelation by Nollywood actor Charles Inojie. Charles revealed how he was forced out of his home after a difficult family decision.
Speaking openly, the actor said, “My stepmom asked my father to choose between her and me, he chose her.”
Furthermore, he explained how his dreams were delayed due to the situation. “When i got admission into the university, she told my father I had to wait for her own child to grow up so we could go together, a child I’m 18 years older than,” he said.
As a result, Inojie disclosed that he had no choice but to survive on his own.
“That was how i ended up in the street and the street is doing me well,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Charles Inojie childhood story has triggered mixed reactions on X(Bobo) online. Some users blamed the stepmother, while others pointed fingers at the father.
One user, Aikasekun, stated, “Honestly. A good mother will always take care of her children.” In addition, another user, Soul Bird, argued that the father should be held responsible. “It’s so convenient how everyone blames the stepmother and not the actual father,” the comment read.
