“There are no doubts, there have never been any doubts from my side, and I will try to transfer this to the players at a meeting we will have on Tuesday,” he said.

Broos went on to reaffirm his trust in the squad, stating, “I believe in this group and I am sure that they will do everything in their power to win that game on Friday. Why should we doubt ourselves now after our performances in the qualifiers? If there is a team that deserves to go to the World Cup, it is South Africa.”

The coach’s words come as a major confidence boost for Bafana Bafana supporters, who have watched the national team rebuild under his leadership.

Over the past two years, Broos has overseen a period of steady improvement, guiding South Africa to competitive performances and a renewed sense of belief within the camp.

Moreover, with the qualifiers reaching their decisive stage, the team’s recent form suggests that they are ready to rise to the challenge.

Bafana Bafana have shown impressive consistency, combining disciplined defending with creative attacking play.

Meanwhile, supporters across the country are eagerly anticipating Friday’s clash against Zimbabwe, viewing it as a make-or-break moment for the nation’s World Cup hopes.

Therefore, the next week represents one of the most important chapters in South African football in recent years.
