Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has announced plans to take legal action against her colleague, Lizzy Anjorin, over repeated de@th wishes directed at her children and grandson.
The long-running feud between the two actresses has once again resurfaced, this time with both parties trading fresh allegations on social media.
In a statement shared on Instagram, Iyabo Ojo, who is currently in Tanzania tending to her newborn grandson, revealed that her legal team is documenting every defamatory post made by Anjorin.
She assured her fans that once she returns to Lagos, the issue will be formally addressed in court.
“On a more serious note, I’ve seen all your messages, DMs, voice notes, and questions about my silent approach to the defamatory statements, insults, death wishes, and curses Liz Anjorin has been directing at my family, especially those targeting my grandson,” Ojo said.
She added: “My legal team isn’t sleeping. They’re taking notes of everything. A wise one must always listen to the counsel of the learned team. Everything has its timing.”
Meanwhile, Lizzy Anjorin has responded to Iyabo’s post, insisting she should not be judged harshly for targeting Ojo’s family.
According to Anjorin, the feud began when Ojo allegedly mocked her daughter, Florida, by sharing defamatory content online.
In a video posted on her Instagram, Anjorin claimed: “Iyabo and her team came to paste a court document on my building. When they got there, they saw my daughter, who had just returned from school, took a picture of her, and shared it on social media.
Iyabo even added laughing emojis on those posts.”
She further alleged that Ojo mocked reports of her supposed de@th online and accused her rival of playing a destructive role in the controversy surrounding singer Naira Marley and his associate, Sam Larry.
Iyabo Ojo, however, emphasized that her silence has been deliberate, prioritizing family while her legal team prepared for action.
“Silence can be powerful, and while it’s not always easy for me, I know it’s sometimes necessary,” she explained.
For her part, Anjorin has maintained she will not back down, claiming Ojo “started the war.”
The Iyabo Ojo vs Lizzy Anjorin feud, which has spanned years and led to police interventions and lawsuits, continues to dominate conversations in Nollywood circles.
