Tensions have flared once again as Adron Homes, one of Nigeria’s most controversial real estate companies, is at the center of a new scandal.
Residents of Ayegun Oleyo in Ibadan have cried out, claiming the property development giant has unlawfully taken their land.
The accusations come amid growing frustration and a wave of unresolved disputes already tied to the company.
The latest uproar adds to the storm surrounding Aare Adetola Emmanuel-King, founder and CEO of Adron Homes, who many critics say operates above reproach.
Despite numerous complaints in the past, this recent case in Oyo State is sparking louder demands for government intervention.
According to aggrieved landowners, families who legally acquired land years ago are being pushed off by the real estate firm without explanation.
“We are pleading with the Oyo State Government to step in. Our land has been taken by Adron Homes without any proper procedure,” one resident said.
Furthermore, locals allege that company representatives have shown up on the land with security escorts, demolishing structures and fencing off plots without presenting any valid ownership documents.
“This land has been in our family for years. We bought it legally, and now it’s being seized right in front of us,” another victim lamented.
The controversy has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with critics accusing Adron Homes of repeated abuse of power and shady land practices.
Meanwhile, despite the rising backlash, the company’s management has remained silent. Efforts to reach the real estate firm for comment have so far yielded no response.
