A woman identified as Helen Loveth Alo, who falsely testified at Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s Zion Ministry about acquiring a N500 million mansion, has finally revealed why she made the claim.
The incident gained public attention after a viral video surfaced, showing her selling drinks in a small shop.
The revelation sparked widespread reactions, prompting the ministry’s leader, Evangelist Ebuka Obi, to distance himself from her testimony.
He clarified that he had no prior knowledge of the woman and stated that she would be arrested for misleading the congregation.
In a recent development, a video emerged showing Alo being questioned about her testimony.

When asked why she made the false claim, she explained that she had done so as an act of faith, believing she was in the process of acquiring the house.
“I did not build the house. We’re in the process of buying it. I have checked it, and the agent said that we should go to meet the landlord,” Alo said.
However, when further questioned about whether the house was truly hers, she admitted, “It’s not mine now… I don’t own any one.”
The Zion Ministry, known for its strong spiritual following, has been at the center of discussions since the incident unfolded.
Furthermore, Evangelist Ebuka Obi’s swift reaction to the situation demonstrated the ministry’s commitment to maintaining its integrity.
By publicly disassociating from the false testimony and calling for corrective action, the church has taken steps to prevent similar occurrences in the future.
