The US based Nigerian Dr. Stella Immanuel is in the news again.
Apparently she’s against Dr. Anthoni Fauci over his claims that hydroxychloroquine is not a tested cure for coronavirus.
A video was released on Tuesday all over social media of Dr. Immanuel’s claims that the discredited hydroxychloroquine drug is a tested cure for COVID-19.
The President of the United States Donald Trump had supported her claims of the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine in curing Coronavirus, but the tweets have been deleted by Twitter.
Dr. Immanuel accompanied by a group of Trump frontline doctors went further in Washington D.C. where she gave an impassioned speech testifying that the drug is efficacious.
She claimed to have successfully treated no fewer than 350 patients with hydroxychloroquine, zinc, and Zithromax. Hydroxychloroquine, long touted by President Donald Trump as the cure for the virus.
However, The US’ top infectious disease expert, Dr. Fauci had discredited both President Trump Dr. Immanuel’s argument.
According to Dr. Fauci, “I go along with the FDA. The overwhelming prevailing clinical trials that have looked at the efficacy of hydroxychloroquine have indicated that it is not effective in coronavirus disease,
He added that there are other measures everyone can take to protect themselves, including wearing of masks.
Dr. Fauci said on Good Morning America on Tuesday that, “We should all be wearing masks outside,” he added. “There are fundamental things we should be doing, particularly if you happen to be in an area where there’s viral activity.”
Apparently Dr. Immanuel strongly disagrees with Fauci’s argument.
Stella replied Fauci on Wednesday, “Fauci you are lying.” she said.
She added also that he (Dr. Fauci) knows the truth about Hydroxychloroquine.
“You know it. Americans are dying and you are playing Russian roulette with their lives. Early Hydroxychloroquinezinc works. #HCQzinc4prevention #weshallnotdiebutlive,” she added on Twitter.
