US Backs Off Israel’s Iran Strike, Warns Tehran to Stay Clear

Tensions in the Middle East have reached a critical point as Israel launched a major military operation against Iranian targets.

The United States, however, has firmly stated it was not involved in the action.

This development comes with a clear warning from Washington to Tehran avoid retaliating against American interests.

“Tonight, Israel took unilateral action against Iran. We are not involved in strikes against Iran,” said U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in an official statement.

He added, “Our top priority is protecting American forces in the region.”

Rubio stressed that Israel believed the strikes were necessary for its own safety.

“Israel advised us that they believe this action was necessary for its self-defense,” he said.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump and his administration have taken urgent steps to protect American assets.

“We have taken all necessary steps to protect our forces and remain in close contact with our regional partners,” Rubio explained. He then issued a strong warning: “Let me be clear: Iran should not target U.S. interests or personnel.”

The Israel Iran conflict has escalated significantly following Israel’s airstrike on Iranian military and nuclear facilities.

According to Israeli military officials, the mission aimed to prevent Iran from advancing its nuclear weapons and missile programs.

The preemptive strike reportedly targeted dozens of sites across Iran.

Among the locations hit were military bases and a high-security area in Tehran believed to house top commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

Explosions were widely heard across the capital, while state media confirmed multiple fires and serious damage.

In response to its own actions, Israel declared a nationwide state of emergency.

The country also closed its airspace and redirected all incoming flights.

Tehran’s main airport suspended all departures as Iran activated its air defense systems.

Furthermore, sources say that Iran is now preparing for possible retaliation.

Intelligence reports indicate Iran may strike back using ballistic missiles aimed at Israeli territory.

The entire region remains under alert as fears of a broader military conflict grow stronger.

The United States, however, remains clear on its stance.

It has made it known that while it supports Israel’s right to self-defense, it is not part of this specific operation.

Washington’s focus remains on avoiding further escalation.
