Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has rejected Eniola Badmus’ public apology, describing the peace offering as insincere.

The controversy began during an appearance by Eniola Badmus on the YouTube show Curiosity Made Me Ask, hosted by Bae U.
During the interview, the host asked Eniola to name her favourite actress.
When she declined to mention anyone, Bae U suggested Laide Bakare’s name.
Eniola’s facial expression at that moment appeared to show displeasure, prompting reactions from viewers who watched the clip online.
Laide subsequently called out her colleague over the gesture, bringing the exchange into the public spotlight.
Following the backlash, Eniola Badmus issued a public apology to Laide, acknowledging her mistake.
However, Laide was not convinced by the apology and took to social media to reject it.
She reportedly described the apology as fake, suggesting that the attempt to make peace had not resolved her concerns.
