Wunmi Aloba, the widow of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has openly called out social media critic Verydarkman, urging him to stay out of her family’s affairs.
Taking to her Instagram page, Wunmi accused him of persistent harassment, defamation, and spreading false narratives about her and her son, Liam.
She stated that for nearly two years, she had endured his attacks, including public doubts about her son’s paternity.
However, she emphasized that her silence was never a sign of weakness but rather a decision to grieve her husband with dignity.
In her statement, she directly addressed the critic, saying, “Vincent, for nearly two years I have endured your harassment and attempts to obstruct my husband’s justice.
Despite my silence, you continued to spread misinformation and question our son’s paternity, Liam.”
The controversy surrounding a DNA test for Liam has been a heated topic on social media.
Wunmi reiterated her willingness to undergo the test while accusing Verydarkman of exploiting Mohbad’s death for clout.
She expressed frustration over what she described as his biased support for her late husband’s adversaries.
“Your biased support for Mohbad’s enemies is notable, but I’m confident God is on my side. You can’t break me or my son. I have stated repeatedly that I am ready for the DNA.”
Furthermore, she defended herself against allegations linked to a past recording of Mohbad.
She clarified that the recording was made after her husband suffered trauma at the hands of NDLEA officers and that he later apologized.
She noted that they had moved forward, got married, and had a child after the incident.
Wunmi also accused Verydarkman of attempting to gain popularity from her husband’s tragic passing.
She firmly stated that she would no longer respond to him and urged him to focus on his own issues instead of interfering in her family’s struggles.
“If you’re genuinely concerned about DNA testing, I suggest you start by questioning your own paternity. Mind your business and leave me and my family out of your vindictive pursuits.”
