Fresh concern has surrounded Nigerian music socialite Sam Larry after reports claimed he was involved in a serious road accident in Lagos.
According to reports published by Daily Post, the Sam Larry accident happened in the early hours of Saturday along the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Road.
The vehicle he was travelling in reportedly crashed into a trailer under circumstances that have yet to be officially explained.
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement from the Lagos State Police Command, emergency agencies, or Sam Larry’s family regarding his condition.
However, photos and videos circulating on social media appeared to show a badly damaged vehicle believed to be involved in the crash.
According to report, the crash allegedly claimed the life of Sam Larry’s bouncer, who was said to have died at the scene. Reports indicated that the victim was travelling with the music promoter when the accident occurred.
Furthermore, Nigerian comedian and event host Mario Wazobia appealed to Nigerians to pray for Sam Larry after sharing photos linked to the accident on Instagram.
He wrote:
“PRAY FOR SAMMYLARRY.”
In another post, he added:
“More photos from the early morning accident involving socialite Sam Larry and his bouncer. Reports indicate the bouncer tragically lost his life at the scene while Sam Larry has been rushed to the hospital in critical condition.”
Moreover, eyewitness accounts have not yet been officially released, making it difficult to determine what led to the reported collision.
Meanwhile, neither Sam Larry’s management nor his close associates have issued an official update regarding his medical condition.
