At least four people have been killed and 30 injured after a train derailed in southern Germany.A police spokesperson said the Munich-bound train had been quite full at the time it crashed north of the Bavarian ski resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Pictures showed carriages of the double-decker regional train stuck between tree branches and having rolled down a hill.
Around 30 people were hurt in the accident, police said on Twitter.Several school students were on board the train, it was reported.
People could also be seen being carried away on stretchers.Police said a major emergency services operation was underway and the rail line was completely closed.
