DCP Olatunji Disu transfers the mantle of leadership of the RRS to CSP Yinka Egbeyemi

The current Commander of the Rapid Respond Squad, DCP Olatunji Disu has been transferred out of Lagos. A major shakeup which has led to the redeployment of some police officers by the Inspector General of Police has led to the transfer of the outgoing Commander of the Rapid Respond Squad (RRS), DCP Tunji Disu to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.

DCP Olatunji Disu is known to be amongst the finest and hard-working police officer in the Nigeria Force.

However, He will be handing over the mantle of leadership of the Rapid Respond Squad to the Commander of the Lagos State Task-force, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi.

DCP Olatunji Disu has done a great job during his service as Commander of the Rapid Respond Squad. He was able to imbibe his disciplinary character to the officers serving under the RRS command and as such redefined the Rapid Respond Squad under his watch.

Lagosians will surely miss DCP Olatunji Disu and hope that the incoming Commander, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi would maintain the high standards already set by Tunji Disu.

His mode of policing and leadership style in the Nigeria police force is rare to come by, as he was able to attain his current rank with hardwork and sleepless nights.

DCP Olatunji Disu is a graduate of English with good English dictions that has helped him over the years to maintain a great communication skill in the cause of his duty and has also helped him build cordial relationships with the community, his staffs, colleagues, friends and family.

His presence was felt in Lagos, as the high rate of crime reduced drastically during his service as Commander of the Lagos State Rapid Respond Squad (RRS), popularly known as the “Good Guys”.
