Reports reaching Priscimedia that the Commander of the Nigeria Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, of the Ondo State Command, is dead.
The Commander of the Ondo State Command of the NDLEA, Haruna Gagara died after a brief illness. He was aged 59.
According to a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Superintendent of Narcotics, Ekechuku Wilson who confirmed the death said, “The NDLEA Commander was highly disciplined when he held sway as the head of the command.”
He disclosed that the late commander who was a devoted Christian was born in 1962, hailed from Lantan Local Government Area of Plateau State.
He will be buried in Jos, Plateau State on June 18, 2021.
Disclosing the burial ceremony of the late Commander, he said, “The Service of Songs will take place today (Wednesday) by 3 pm at the Command’s Chapel within the premises of the headquarters in Alagbaka Akure, Ondo State.” He said.
