Brad Pitt Accuses Angelina Jolie of Malicious Sale in Château Miraval Legal Dispute

Hollywood star Brad Pitt is pressing forward in his ongoing legal dispute with ex-wife Angelina Jolie, demanding key documents related to the controversial sale of their French winery, Château Miraval.

The case, which has drawn intense public interest, took a new turn this week as Pitt’s legal team pushed for the release of communications from a business executive tied to the deal.

According to newly filed court documents, Pitt is requesting private records and deposition testimony from Alexey Oliynik, an executive at Stoli Group, which acquired Jolie’s stake in Château Miraval in 2021.

Pitt claims Oliynik possesses critical knowledge about the transaction and alleges that Jolie knowingly sold to a buyer he strongly opposed.

“These requests go directly to key allegations about Pitt’s objections to the sale,” Pitt’s attorneys stated in the filing.

They further argued the documents “meet the standard for discovery” because they support Pitt’s claim that Jolie acted with malice.

However, Oliynik has declined to comply with the legal request, citing his residency in Switzerland and claiming he cannot be compelled to testify.

Pitt and Jolie, once Hollywood’s golden couple, separated in 2016 after 12 years together and finalized their divorce in 2023.

The Brad Pitt vs. Angelina Jolie feud over Château Miraval officially began in 2022 when Pitt sued Jolie, claiming she breached an agreement not to sell her stake without his consent.

Jolie responded with her own lawsuit, accusing Pitt of attempting to “silence her” through what she described as a “vindictive war.”

In a twist last year, a judge ordered Jolie to produce eight years of her own NDA records to determine if she had regularly used NDAs herself potentially weakening her argument against Pitt’s demands.

An insider from Jolie’s camp shared that, “she hopes Pitt will drop the lawsuit so the family can finally heal.”

On the other hand, a source aligned with Pitt claimed Jolie’s actions have caused “tremendous collateral damage” to those close to them.

Despite repeated media inquiries, representatives for both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have remained silent on the latest court filings.

Château Miraval, the sprawling French estate at the heart of the controversy, was jointly purchased by the former couple in 2008.

However, Pitt’s insistence on full transparency and Jolie’s firm response have ensured that the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie winery battle will stay in the public eye.
