Apongbon market in Lagos Island gutted up in flames, as parked vehicles and shops are burnt to ashes. The cause of the fire outbreak is still unknown at the time of filling this report.
The Lagos State fire service are trying to put out the fire. There are fears the fire would cause severe damage to the Eko bridge.
The fire has caused heavy traffic for motorist driving to work, as the roads are totally blocked!
There is need to divert traffic from Costain inwards Eko bridge at this point.
