An Air India flight travelling from Frankfurt to Delhi was diverted to Jaipur after a security alert raised concerns about a possible threat onboard.
The Boeing 787-9 aircraft, operating as flight AI2030, landed safely at Jaipur International Airport at about 9:35 am on Wednesday.
Security teams escorted it to a separate area for detailed checks.
The aircraft was later cleared to continue its journey after authorities completed their inspections.
Air India confirmed that passengers had reboarded before the flight departed for Delhi on Wednesday afternoon.
Initial reports from sources mentioned a possible bomb threat and a suspected hijacking.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Shiv Dayal told PTI that airport officials alerted police about the emergency landing following a bomb threat.
A preliminary report also said the pilot activated Squawk Code 7500, an international signal used to indicate unlawful interference with an aircraft.
The alert was reportedly issued while the plane was operating within the Mumbai Flight Information Region.
After the aircraft landed, passengers disembarked as security teams began their checks.

Personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force, local police and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad inspected the plane, luggage and cargo areas.
The Aerodrome Committee later reviewed the situation and confirmed that the security alert had been resolved.
Authorities then cleared the aircraft and crew to depart.
In an official statement, Air India said flight AI2030 was diverted on October 14 because of a perceived security concern.
The airline confirmed the aircraft landed safely and underwent checks by the relevant security agencies.
“All passengers were disembarked, underwent security checks, and have since reboarded the aircraft,” the airline said.
Air India also apologised for the disruption and said it worked with authorities to reduce inconvenience to passengers.
It reiterated that the safety of passengers and crew remained its top priority.
