Veteran Yoruba actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has reportedly received urgent medical attention following an emotional appeal from his daughters.
The development comes after his daughters, Kira and Lima, raised concerns about their father’s health.
They appealed for medical experts who could help him receive further treatment. According to reports, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has stepped in to assist the veteran actor.
The Ogun West Senator reportedly contacted cancer specialists to attend to Ogogo. He was subsequently taken to the theatre for treatment.
An update shared by actress Toyosi Adesanya described the development as a major response to the family’s appeal.

Senator Yayi personally reached out to top cancer specialists, and we are grateful to learn that Ogogo has now been admitted to the operating theatre for treatment.”
The message also called for prayers for the actor’s recovery and renewed strength.

The development follows reports that Ogogo’s daughters had sought urgent medical help. They said they were seeking treatment rather than financial donations.
Taiwo Hassan’s treatment update has since brought fresh hope to fans and colleagues.
