Speaking during his legal battle with OpenAI, Musk said the fast-growing technology could shape humanity’s fate in ways many may not expect.
While addressing the court, Musk stated plainly, “It could k+ll us all,” highlighting the potential dangers of unchecked development.
Moreover, Musk compared possible futures using popular culture. He warned against a path similar to The Terminator, which portrays machines turning against humans.
“We don’t want a Terminator outcome, we want a Gene Roddenberry vision,” he said, pointing to a more hopeful future inspired by Star Trek.
