The sudden death of Afrofuji singer Destiny Boy has taken a dramatic turn. Fresh findings have now revealed what truly led to the young star’s passing.
Moreover, the findings have ended months of speculation that surrounded his tragic death.

According to reports, the Ogun State Police Command conducted a detailed autopsy. The examination was carried out by the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department.
The results revealed dangerous levels of tramadol and methamphetamine in his system. In addition, toxic substances were found to have played a key role in his death.
The report concluded that he died from aspiration pneumonitis linked to the ingestion of these substances. This discovery has shifted the narrative around his passing.
Meanwhile, authorities have taken further steps following the findings. A suspect has already been arrested in connection with the case.

DSP Babaseyi Oluseyi confirmed this development during an interview. He stated that investigations are still ongoing to uncover more details.
However, officials have not yet released full information about the suspect’s involvement. Therefore, more updates are expected as the case unfolds.
Before the autopsy results, the singer’s family had shared a different account. They explained that Destiny Boy had been dealing with a long-term health issue.
According to them, the condition caused seizures. They also revealed that both medical and traditional treatments were being used.
Meanwhile, videos that surfaced online had already sparked public concern. The clips showed what appeared to be his body being moved to a mortuary.
Destiny Boy rose to fame at a young age with his unique Afrofuji style. He blended traditional Yoruba Fuji with modern Afrobeats sounds.
He gained attention in 2019 after covering Davido’s hit song “If.” Moreover, he continued to build his name with other covers and original tracks.
Some of his songs include Lamba, One Transaction, and Gbese. In addition, he released tracks like Billion Dollar and Lowkey.
