Diddy Narrowly Escapes Prison Attack After Inmate Threatens Him With Knife

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs reportedly faced a terrifying moment inside MDC Brooklyn, where he is currently serving time, after an inmate allegedly held a knife to his throat.

The shocking incident has raised serious concerns about his safety behind bars.

According to Charlucci Finney, one of Diddy’s close friends, the 54-year-old rapper woke up in the middle of the night to find a blade pressed against his neck.

“It was terrifying,” Finney told Daily Mail, adding that the attack could have easily turned deadly.

He admitted he wasn’t sure if guards intervened or if Diddy managed to protect himself, but confirmed that “it was a very close call.”

Sources familiar with the situation told TMZ that the attack was a targeted intimidation attempt.

Finney suggested that the motive was likely to scare Diddy, explaining that prison life can be particularly dangerous for inmates with sex-related convictions.

During Diddy’s sentencing, his attorney Brian Steel also referenced the frightening incident, saying that a prison guard stepped in before any serious harm occurred.

The lawyer emphasized that while Diddy escaped physical injury, the event deeply shook him.

Diddy is currently serving a 50-month federal prison sentence after being convicted on two counts of violating the Mann Act, a law involving the illegal transportation of individuals across state lines for unlawful purposes.

However, he was acquitted of the sex trafficking and racketeering charges that had initially brought nationwide attention to his case.

Meanwhile, reports have circulated that former U.S. President Donald Trump is considering granting Diddy a presidential pardon.

While the White House Communications Office has denied these claims, TMZ insists that its sources are standing by the story.

Prison consultant Sam Mangel, speaking on TMZ Live, explained that Diddy is expected to be transferred to a less violent correctional facility in the coming weeks.

However, he warned that “incidents like this highlight the reality of prison life, especially for high-profile inmates.”

In addition, Mangel stressed that even though Diddy’s next facility will likely be safer, the artist must stay cautious.

“This kind of situation can happen anytime. He needs to be alert at all times,” he said.
